Radio and audio content came into their own during the pandemic, because of its adaptability, intimacy and portability. In this last year, students on BA Radio and Digital Production have met the challenges of remote working, learning how to create engaging and entertaining audio, combining different technologies with their digital production skills. At the heart of our course was storytelling and our students applied a range of practical disciplines to produce rewarding content in various formats and genres, including podcasts, features, audio dramas, audio slideshows and culminating in a pop up station, aimed at millennials. The output they have produced demonstrates their readiness to take up work in a wide range of roles connected to radio, audio and digital media content production.
